"d'encres" series
I got the name for this series from the first part of the name of my favorite French ink, ELNA's label ink "d'encres pour imprimer". I was drawn to the metallic sheen and the color of the label on the ink bottle. This beauty, found in tools, or objects unrelated to beauty, also gave rise to this enjoyable paradox: the ink that was used to produce beauty was also printed in the exact same ink.
